Certified Hand Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Director Rehab and Sports Medicine
Frank is a Maryville native and a graduate of Maryville High School. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1990 with a degree in behavioral science/military science and received a United States Army Reserve commission through the University's ROTC program. In 1995 he earned a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst College.
Frank is a Certified Hand Therapist or CHT. As stated by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission www.htcc.org:
"A certified hand therapist is an occupational therapist or physical therapist who has a minimum of five years clinical experience, including 2,000 hours or more in direct practice in hand therapy. In addition, the certified hand therapist must successfully pass a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper extremity rehabilitation.
In the profession of hand therapy, the credentials for certified hand therapist are CHT. These marks distinguish an occupational or physical therapist as someone with the highest professional credential in the specialty of upper extremity rehabilitation. A CHT is a part of an exceptional group of occupational and physical therapists who have met the standards set by experts in hand therapy. They have demonstrated their professional commitment to excellence by obtaining these voluntary credentials."
Frank is also certified in the Isernhagen technique of Functional Capacity Evaluation, Functional Job Analysis, and Pre-work screen development.
Frank is responsible for the management and operations of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, outreach athletic training, Frappier Sports Acceleration Training, Industrial rehab, cardiac rehab, and pulmonary rehab.
