Acceleration Sports Training
In today's competitive world you need a winning edge - you need speed, agility, power, and strength. That's what the Athletic Republic programs deliver. From developing athletes to peak performing professionals, to recreational athletes, everyone can benefit from the Athletic Republic Programs at St. Francis Acceleration.
The Athletic Republic programs are a systematic series of supervised training protocols and sport-specific exercises designed to safely enhance the physical performance of athletes of all ages, interests, and skill levels. Whether you are a beginning athlete learning a new sport, a recreational athlete or a professional, St. Francis Acceleration will help you achieve your athletic performance goals. How do we do it? We administer programs that cater specifically to each sport and every athlete. Programs that push our athletes hard and make them faster, stronger, and more agile than they ever thought possible. Programs that under the directions of our Athletic Republic trainers, translate to victory for every athlete.
These unique programs were developed to improve overall athletic performance and specifically target improvements in:
- acceleration and sprint speed
- agility and balance
- power and quickness
- strength and stamina
- neuromuscular coordination
More than 570,000 athletes in more than 160 licensed facilities around the world have benefited from at least one Athletic Republic Program and have recorded improvements in speed, power, vertical jump, quickness, recovery rate and in sport-specific abilities.
The St. Francis Acceleration programs are also very useful following lower extremity injury. When prescribed by a physician, the Acceleration Program offers the next level of rehabilitation following traditional Physical Therapy.
St. Francis Acceleration protocols are administered by specially trained Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers.
The St. Francis Acceleration program is currently located on the lower level of St. Francis Hospital. The 2300 square foot facility houses the supertreadmill, a hitting and throwing area, plyometric stations, and other specialized equipment needed to train the high volume of area athletes.
