 Physical Therapy
|
Physical therapists are experts in the examination and treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders that limit an individual's mobility, quality of movement, and strength. Use of exercise, physical agent modalities, and manual techniques are used to treat these deficits and decrease pain.

Physical therapy also prevents the unnecessary loss of movement and strength due to injury, disease process, and developmental conditions. Physical therapy educates people to manage these conditions throughout their lives.
The St. Francis physical therapists are continually seeking to improve their knowledge and skills. There are two advance credentialed Orthopedic Certified Specialists, or OCS's on staff. Other specialized training includes Mulligan manual therapy technique certification, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Weight Trainer.
